Here’s an example of something that you probably don’t hear about often:
A missionary friend of mine just sold an extra engine he had around the house while on furlough. He called me tonight and asked if I knew any missionaries that needed a little financial boost.
After consulting with Pastor Blackstock, I suggested Ron Link. He’s just started deputation, has given up “gainful” employment, and needs cash! That sounded great to my friend, so Bro. Link should be getting a blessing on his next financial report. Praise God!

Knowing how difficult it can be to raise support, I think this is wonderful.
Even though I have no first-hand knowledge of any of you, can you tell your friend that I said “Thank you.”
If Christians only knew how difficult it can be to raise support, would they give more? I don’t know. I only wish they would.
